I want to be a fit and fun Mum
May 10, 2016I was Living in Fear
May 18, 2016In September last year, my world was totally rocked – I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I will spare you the gory details – but what I will say is that it has been the most terrifying, breath-taking, horrendous, profoundly beautiful thing I have ever experienced. It has opened my eyes to how much I had already stopped living. It made me realize that I had become more focused on who I was supposed to be, and had forgotten who I actually was. I surprised myself with courage, and discovered that the world is full of beauty and wonder and grace. Breast cancer saved my life.
I am not usually one to share things and make myself vulnerable, but I am telling a part of my story because I am ready to change and come out of myself. I am ready to lose weight, get in shape, start a blog, learn to be me. I’m ready to start living – and I am so excited that the 20 Week Challenge is a part of my journey. I can’t wait to see where these next 20 weeks will take me.
Thank you 🙂
